Vietnam Participates in WTM London 2025 to Expand International Tourism Markets

Vietnam will take part in WTM London 2025 from 2 to 9 November, led by Hà Văn Siêu, Deputy Director General of the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism. The delegation aims to strengthen destination promotion, expand tourism partnerships and boost visitor arrivals from Europe.

WTM London is one of the world’s largest tourism trade events, gathering tens of thousands of travel businesses, airlines, hotel groups and national tourism authorities. At this year’s fair, Vietnam will showcase its signature tourism products, highlight key destinations and introduce updated visa policies, improved infrastructure and growing air connectivity.

Vietnam’s pavilion, covering 204 square meters, will feature destination presentations, product showcases and a series of networking activities, including on-site promotions and business engagements with partners from global markets.

The United Kingdom and Europe remain high-priority source markets for Vietnam thanks to long visitor stays, high spending and strong interest in cultural, heritage and nature-based experiences. Direct flights between Vietnam and the UK now operate with a combined frequency of 60 to 70 flights per week. British travelers currently enjoy a 45-day visa exemption under Resolution 44/NQ-CP issued on 7 March 2025, contributing to sustained growth in arrivals.

In 2024, the number of British visitors to Vietnam rose by 20.4 percent. During the first nine months of 2025, Vietnam welcomed 15.4 million international arrivals, with the UK market growing by 22 percent and Europe continuing its positive recovery.

Vietnam expects WTM London 2025 to unlock new cooperation opportunities with international partners, travel agencies and media organizations. Participation in this event is an important step in the country’s strategy to diversify international markets, enhance global partnerships and strengthen the competitiveness of Vietnam’s tourism industry.
