International Arrivals to Da Nang Continue to Surge

Tourism in Da Nang maintained strong momentum through the first ten months of 2025. Visitor numbers and tourism revenue continued to rise, showing a clear path of sustainable recovery and reinforcing the city’s position as a leading tourism and leisure hub in Central Vietnam.

Da Nang’s tourism sector recorded vibrant activity in October 2025, supported by a series of large cultural events and festivals that attracted both domestic and international travelers. Celebrations such as the GBA Oktoberfest, the EWEC International Trade–Tourism–Investment Fair, the Da Nang Mid-Autumn Festival, the “Màu phái đẹp” exhibition, along with various street performances, helped strengthen the city’s reputation as a destination known for dynamic and creative events.

New international routes to Singapore, Kuala Lumpur and Shenzhen created stronger regional connectivity, opening opportunities for growth in key segments such as MICE travel and destination weddings.

Despite heavy rains and storms toward the end of the month affecting accommodation and sightseeing activities, the city still achieved higher overall growth compared to the same period in 2024. Over the first ten months of 2025, Da Nang welcomed an estimated 15.4 million visitors at accommodation establishments, an increase of more than twenty percent year on year. International visitors reached 6.3 million, while domestic travelers totaled 9.1 million.

Tourism revenue also climbed significantly. Accommodation and food service revenue reached an estimated VND 44,503 billion. Accommodation revenue rose to VND 15,927 billion, and food service revenue reached VND 28,576 billion.

The continued rise in visitor numbers and spending highlights Da Nang’s role as a central tourism and holiday gateway, supported by strong event programming, improved air connectivity and a steadily growing international presence.
