In particular, the woodblock collection of 3,050 copies, mainly Buddhist scriptures, carved on wood by Truc Lam Zen masters, has been recognized by UNESCO as a World Memory Heritage in the Asia-Pacific region. In recent years, at the beginning of the new year, the Provincial People's Committee has organized a Cultural - Tourism Week to promote the land and people of Bac Giang, rich in development potential and friendly and hospitable.

In addition to Vinh Nghiem Pagoda, according to the assessment of the authorities, the whole province has more than 2.3 thousand relics, many of which are recognized as tourist attractions. Master Nguyen Huu Toan, former Deputy Director of the Department of Cultural Heritage (Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism) assessed that Bac Giang has beautiful landscapes, a rich system of relics and unique festivals, which are advantages for developing spiritual, ecological and community tourism. In order to form attractive destinations, in recent times, the Party Committees and authorities at all levels in the province have directed and implemented many solutions to create a "new breeze" for tourism development. The Provincial Party Committee issued Resolution No. 112, dated June 15, 2021 on tourism development for the period 2021-2025, with a vision to 2030; The Provincial People's Council has a Resolution stipulating policies to support the development of community tourism in the province for the period 2023 - 2030. With the participation of all levels, sectors and localities, a number of tourist areas and spots have been formed in the province such as: Tay Yen Tu spiritual and ecological tourism area (Son Dong), Suoi Mo ecological tourism area (Luc Nam), Xuong Giang Victory Site historical relic (Bac Giang city), Bo Da pagoda (Viet Yen).
During the lychee, orange and grapefruit season, gardeners in Chu town and Luc Ngan district welcome hundreds of thousands of visitors. number of visitors to visit and experience. The community tourism site of Ban Ven Xanh, Xuan Luong commune (Yen The) is also known by many people. Coming here, visitors can immerse themselves in the unique cultural space of the Cao Lan people. There are many products here such as: wild honey, mountain snails, bitter bamboo shoots, some precious medicinal herbs for visitors to buy as gifts.

With the efforts of all levels, sectors and tourism workers, in 2024, Bac Giang attracted nearly 2.7 million visitors, an increase of nearly 27% over the previous year. Total revenue from tourism activities is estimated at 2 trillion VND, an increase of 38%.

Building typical tourism products
In the plan of the Provincial People's Committee to implement Resolution No. 112, dated June 15, 2021 of the Provincial Party Committee, it is determined to develop 4 main tourism products including: Cultural and spiritual tourism; eco-tourism, resort tourism; entertainment and recreation tourism associated with golf sports; community tourism. The province's goal is to welcome about 3 million visitors by 2025; total revenue from tourism services will reach about 3 trillion VND, creating jobs for 6,000 workers.

Mr. Vu The Binh, Chairman of the Vietnam Tourism Association, said that in order to develop tourism, Bac Giang needs to harmoniously combine nature with the culture and life of local people to build unique tourism products. Focus on building green tourism products, reducing plastic waste at accommodation establishments, tourist areas and spots. Pay attention to training communication, behavior, management and operation skills for organizations and individuals operating in tourism to create a good impression on tourists. According to many experts and representatives of travel companies, Bac Giang should create tourism products from diverse and unique heritages. For example, at the Xuong Giang Victory Site National Special Relic Site, Hoang Hoa Tham Historical Relic Site, it is possible to plan and expand the exhibition space, recreate historical events; collect many stories and images related to the uprising and battles. At the same time, rent costumes; recreate mock battle models; Print books and documents to serve tourists, increasing the value of tourism activities. At the same time, Bac Giang has many scenic spots and fertile fruit growing areas, so it is necessary to promote the development of ecological and agricultural tourism, linking tourism activities with the consumption of typical agricultural products.

Some experts suggested that Bac Giang should exploit the natural beauty and traditional culture in the area to build unique tourism products. According to Mr. Do Tuan Khoa, Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, in order for Bac Giang to become an attractive destination for tourists, the province will continue to promote and mobilize investment resources to develop tourist areas and spots, especially the Tay Yen Tu area associated with "The path of propagating Buddhism of the founders of Truc Lam Yen Tu Buddhism". Directing functional units and enterprises to strengthen connections and linkages in building tourism products; training to improve the quality of human resources in a professional direction.

At this time, Bac Giang and the two provinces of Quang Ninh and Hai Duong have completed the scientific dossier submitted to UNESCO to register the "Complex of Monuments and Landscapes of Yen Tu - Vinh Nghiem - Con Son, Kiep Bac" as a World Heritage Site. The two relics of Bac Giang listed in the dossier are Vinh Nghiem Pagoda and Bo Da Pagoda. When the complex of relics is listed, it will create conditions for the province to continue to build a typical tourism product "The Path of propagating Buddhism of the Truc Lam Yen Tu Buddhist Patriarchs"; connecting tours, intra-provincial and inter-provincial tourist routes... promising to bring new experiences to visitors.
